“ Great little place for a quick bite. Very simple menu, only 2 items, potato or beef. A local had to help us out with that. Once we received our order, one of each, I was delighted by the simpleness of the dish and how good they tasted. The person behind the counter was so helpful and kept a smile on her face even with a long line and a couple of newbies not knowing what they were doing. It is a small space with only a few tables but we were able to sit and enjoy our meal before we headed back to the ship. Great place to try if you find yourself on the pier in Juneau and wanting a quick, delicious bite. ”
“ While visiting Juneau, Alaska, I tried Russian dumplings for the first time! Russia owned Alaska originally but sold it during a war to raise money, so there is still some Russian culture in certain areas of Juneau. The dumplings were soft and we had one batch with potato centers and one with beef centers. The sauce at the bottom tasted like a sriracha and vinegar mix and the dumplings were topped with some cilantro. I was happy to try something new and these dumplings were a perfect snack after a long bike ride! ”

“ Listen to me, you need to go here. We got a whole box of these dumplings for 9 and they were worth every penny. The box we were handed weighed about the same as a small child. The owner makes them from scratch and you can absolutely tell. We had the beef dumplings with a sriracha-vinegar mix, melted butter, and curry powder. They were cooked fresh for us on the spot and were ready in under 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Seriously just go here and try it for yourself. ”
